America's oldest hillclimb
Climb to the Clouds
Everything competitors, volunteers, and partners need for the Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds — schedule, rules, sponsorship, and results going back to 1995.

A new Climb to the Clouds record for 2026
2026 saw the return of Climb to the Clouds, America's oldest hillclimb. With the course now fully paved, records were broken and new benchmarks set. Thank you to all of the incredible volunteers, drivers, and spectators who make this one of the most remarkable motorsports events out there.
Our dedicated volunteers make this event possible — as a volunteer you are almost as close to the action as the drivers. Potential event sponsors and inquiries can reach out to Gregory Wilcox at Greg@wilcoxmotorsports.com. The sponsorship packet is linked below.
Record holders — set in 2026
Spectacular event since 1904
The historic Climb to the Clouds has embodied automotive adventure and performance for over a century. Predating Pikes Peak and the Indy 500, it still captivates racers and enthusiasts alike — a daring ascent to Mt. Washington's peak, a tradition that draws top-tier drivers, and a rich history of progressing automotive technology against the elements.
